WINNETKA, Calif. – George “Carl” C. Shaw, 82, passed away Aug. 1, 2007, in California. He was the eldest son of Carleton B. and Margaret E. Shaw. Carl graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1943. He served in World War II as a Navy Seabee. In 1968, he moved his family from Massachusetts to California. Carl is survived by his wife, Anna May; three sons, three grandchildren, four great-grand-children, six siblings and a large number of nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass and inurnment will be celebrated Aug. 9, at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, California.
