FORT KENT – Patricia J. (Douglas) Deschaine, 79, died Aug. 2, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born March 17, 1928, in Keeseville, N.Y., the daughter of Earl and Bessie (Laundry) Douglas. She is survived by her husband, Roger Deschaine of Fort Kent; stepdaughter, Laurie Anne Deschaine of Bristol, Conn.; two sisters, Virginia Mitchell of Keeseville, N.Y., and Beatrice Huhn and her husband, Donald, of Plainville, Conn.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. At the families request, there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Friends are asked to attend a Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. Wed-nesday, Aug. 8, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will be held at a later date in her home town of Keeseville, N.Y. Directly after the church services, family and friends are invited to a luncheon at New Canada Plantation Community Center, Daigle. Arrangements are being conducted by Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
