MILO – George E. Badger Sr., 71, husband of the late Carolyn Badger, passed away Jan. 20, 2007, surrounded by his loving family at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Atkinson, the son of George Everett and Evelyn (Larry) Badger. He had worked most of his life as a woodsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by two sons, George Jr. and Sally, and Everett and Michele, all of Milo; a daughter, Ella Lyford and Gary of LaGrange; two brothers, David Badger of Bradford and Edmund Badger of LaGrange; two sisters, Elizabeth Danforth of Howland and Florence Champeon of Lowell; four grandchildren, Carolyn Clukey and Wade of Enfield, Heather Badger and Tracy Cookson of Harmony, Teresa Hall and Bill of Milo, and Corey Lyford and Julie Wilcox of Sebec; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Kendra, Alec, and Austin; several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by a special sister-in-law, Betty Davis; and many other friends and family who loved him. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, with Pastor Dan Ryan officiating. After the service, friends and family are all invited to share fellowship and remembrances at George’s home on the Ferry Road, Milo. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery, Atkinson.
