PALM COAST, Fla. – George E. Jannery, 67, of Palm Coast, Fla., and Greenville and formerly of Amherst, N.H., died Sept. 21, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 23, 1937, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Claude E. and Josephine (Pelletier) Jannery, and was raised in Millbury, Mass. A graduate of Northeastern University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he was the president of KenEx Incorporated of Merrimack, N.H., until his retirement in 1993. He was known for his excellent humor, good nature, and intelligence. He loved spending time with his family, paying tennis, and making fine furniture. Family members include his wife of 46 years, Lorraine (Brousseau) Jannery; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Jannery of Hopkinton, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bradford Nichols of Amherst, N.H.; five grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Muriel Jannery of Palm Coast, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, in the Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main St., Millbury. Christian burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 at Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Florida Hospital Memorial Hospice Care, 875 Sterhaus Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174-9976.
