PEMBROKE – George F. Perkins, 75, died Oct. 19, 2007, at a Bangor hospital, after a short illness. He was born in Massachusetts in 1932. He was a longtime resident of the state of Maine and a carpenter by trade. George attended First Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents, James B. and Beulah (Robinson) Perkins. He is survived by his ex-wife, Madeline Bragdon of Calais; two daughters and their families in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Elizabeth Condes and William of El Paso, Texas; numerous loved ones and friends in Maine and Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at First Baptist Church, Liberty Hill Road, Pembroke, with the Rev. Gary Kenny officiating.
