BELFAST – Jacqueline “Jackie” Mae (Roberts) Weaver, 71, passed away Nov. 2, 2007. She was born Sept. 20, 1936, the daughter of Claude D. and Shirley (Clark) Roberts. She owned and operated The Dairy Cup, Belfast, with her family for 30 years. She loved playing Beano and going to horse races in Bangor. She was a great cook and enjoyed it very much. Jackie enjoyed playing cards on Saturday nights and family outings. She loved her grandchildren very much. She was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Leslie and Daisy Roberts of Swanville; an infant girl, Deborah, at birth; and eight siblings. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert “Bob” Weaver of Belfast; her children, Rose Walker and her partner, Keith Bemis, of Etna, Doreen Littlefield and husband, Fred, of Brooks, Pam Merry and husband, Tim, of Swanville, Claude Weaver of Belfast and Sharon Peavey and husband, Larry, of Swanville; special nephew, Larry Weaver and his wife, Kathy, and their two sons, Andrew and Robert Weaver of Belfast; brother, Claude Roberts and his wife, Judith, of Derry, N.H.; grandchildren, Jennifer Mae Ivey and husband, Bo, Rebecca Walker, Joshua Walker and partner, Sylvia Moores, Alicia Gilmore and husband, Robert, Jason Littlefield and wife, Amanda, Christopher Merry and wife, Holli, Michael Merry and partner, Jamie Hopkins, Lauren and Erica Peavey; 13 great-grandchildren, several other nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Swanville Community Church with the Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating. Burial will be after the service at Greenlawn Cemetery, Swanville.
