GLOUCESTER, Mass. – George M. “Mickey” McNeil Sr., 86, of 6 Holly St., died peacefully Sunday afternoon, Oct. 10, 2004, at his home surrounded by his wife and several members of his church family. He was the husband of the Rev. Ardis Mayo-McNeil. He had resided in Bangor for many years before moving to Gloucester four years ago. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gloucester United Methodist Church. Visiting hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday evening in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Gloucester United Methodist Church, 436 Washington St., Gloucester. Interment will be held in Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
