BRADLEY – Georgianna M. Brooks, 87, died peacefully May 24, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 1, 1919, in Stillwater, the daughter of Ida (Weymouth) and George Henry Young. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved to spend time at camp. She is survived by a son, Francis A. Brooks of Bradley; two daughters, Ida Clarke and her husband, Russell, of Malone, N.Y., Rose Marie Brooks of Bradley; four grandchildren, Wendi Kobylarz and her husband, Joe, of Pauley’s Island, S.C., Matthew Clarke and his companion, Julie Rushford, of Malone, N.Y., Christopher Clarke and his wife, Jimmi-Joy, of Plattsburg, N.Y., Casey Brooks and his wife, Krissi, of Bangor; seven great-grandchildren, Devon, Jakob, and Brandt Clarke, Sam, Tyler, and Zach Kobylarz, and Makayla Brooks; sisters-in-law, Bernice Brooks, Rosalie Brooks, and Doris Young; special friends, Sue Emery, Dale and Elaine Saucier, Deedy Birmingham and Flannel Hayden. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis M. Brooks in 1997; two brothers, Thornton Young, Kenneth Young; three sisters, Priscilla LePage, Marion Reed, and Helen Mudget. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A memorial Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley, with the Rev. Paul Kerns, celebrant. Immediately after the Mass, all are invited downstairs to the parish hall for a light luncheon. Interment services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley.
