MILLINOCKET – Sarah E. “Betty” Campbell, 80, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at a Brunswick hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Millinocket, the daughter of Frank Laforest and Lillian May (Hall) Campbell. Betty was very devout to her Baptist faith. She was a hard working cleaning lady. She worked many years in Millinocket for O.S. Gonya, Emerson’s Pharmacy, Ferland’s Jewelry, and for many private individuals. She is survived by her daughter, Claire Peters and husband, Kenneth, of Morrill; a daughter-in-law, Linda Campbell of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Christine Brausseau and her husband, John, of Portland, Ore. and Charles Campbell Jr. and his wife, Jenny, of Brunswick and their children, Tyler and Kaslyne. She was predeceased by her son, Charles Campbell in 2004. Friends may call 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday, May 31, where services will be held at noon, at R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, with the Rev. Rudy Homchuck, pastor of Millinocket Baptist Church, officiating.
