CRYSTAL – Gerald E. Carkin Sr. died May 12, 2006 after a short illness. He was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Groton, Mass. He lived life to the fullest. His children were the greatest happiness of his life; along with his ministry, telling others about the joy all men can receive from Kingdom blessings. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Mildred; three sons, Gerald and his wife, Diana, of Pennsylvania, Sidney and his wife, Judy, of Pennsylvania, and Dale and his wife, Yvette, of Colorado; two daughters, Amy Moore of Patten, Nancy and her husband, Kevin Higgins, of Madison, N.H.; one special sister, Carole Di Cicco of Exeter, N.H.; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy; and grandson, Jason. Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Patten.
