DEXTER – Gerald R. Tash, 60, lost his battle with diabetes March 13, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 15, 1947, in Lincoln, a son of Raymond and Vidella (Durkee) Tash. He is survived by his loving fiancee, Phoebe DiSanto of Dexter, who took care of Gerry, stood by him many times and wouldn’t let go of the hope that he would come home. He is also survived by two sons, Tracy of Arkansas and Stacey of Gardiner; two brothers, Ted and companion, Phyllis, of Dexter, and Richard and wife, Elaine, of Garland and Bushnell, Fla.; a sister, Sharon Watson of Winter Garden, Fla.; many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
