HAMPDEN – A funeral service with military honors for Gerald M. “Jerry” Stratton will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Mark Fowler, pastor of the Community Church of the Open Door of Hampden, officiating. At Jerry’s request, please do not wear a suit or tie to the services; casual clothing is what he always preferred. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden. After the services his family invites relatives and friends to celebrate his life by joining them at their home on the Coldbrook Road in Hampden.
