DYER BROOK – Gerald V. Mitchell, 94, died Feb. 15, 2007, in Houlton. He was born June 17, 1912, in Dyer Brook, the son of Oliver and Bertha (Kennedy) Mitchell. Gerald was a dairy farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He is survived by one daughter, Jeanett M. York of Dyer Brook; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Gray, Jamilyn Smith and Jennifer Siltz; and three great-great-grandsons, Garrett, Gunner and Graham. He will be sadly missed by Debbie Gray, Jason Siltz, Dee George, Cheryl and Roger Stevens, and Brenda Willette. He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine; and one grandson, Donald York. Spring interment will be at Dyer Brook Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
