PRESQUE ISLE – Geraldine B. Corey, 94, died Feb. 11, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1913, in Westfield, the daughter of Clifford and Minnie (Rideout) Bolster. Geraldine was an active member of the Pine Tree Baptist Church, Easton. She had been employed at W.T. Grants, Presque Isle for many years and was known as the candy lady by many that shopped there. Geraldine enjoyed volunteering her time and talents with the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging, R.S.V.P. and was a member of the Rose Club and the Red Hat Society. She was known for her quick wit and her love of fishing. Surviving her is a son, Gary Corey of Colorado; daughters, Patricia A. Fitzherbert of Easton and Paulette J. Garrison of Presque Isle; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Carlos daCruz officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A spring interment will be at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton.
