MILLINOCKET and LINCOLN – Geraldine M. Noddin, 89, wife of the late Donald M. Noddin, died May 22, 2006, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born March 29, 1917, in Lincoln, the daughter of Eugene and Maud (Sturgeon) Mott. Geraldine graduated from Mattanawcook Academy and attended the Maine School of Commerce. She lived in Lincoln most of her life, working as a telephone operator, as a clerk in Clay’s Store and Osgood’s, and for a long time, assisting her husband in the operation of Don’s Diner on Main Street. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Sally Danforth and her husband, Avern; three granddaughters and their families, Dawn Danforth and her daughter, Jeanine, Jane McGillicuddy and her husband, Dan and their sons, Derek and Jared, and Shelley Farrington and her husband, Matt and their daughters, Grace and Avery; and a niece, Judy (Mott) Petrie. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Edward Eugene Mott. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. June 4, at the Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev.
