SINCLAIR – Gerard (Magella) Collin, 73, died Jan. 10, 2004, at V.A. Nursing Home in Caribou. He was born March 8, 1930, in St. Agatha, the son of Leonard and Annie (Ouellette) Collin. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Clemence (Fortin) Collin of Sinclair; two sons, Tom of Sinclair and John of Caribou; five daughters, Mary Ann and her husband, Tim Adams, of Sinclair, Gerry Collin of Panama City, Fla., Shirley and her husband, Harry Pelletier of Connor, Cindy and friend, Graydon Adams, of Sinclair, and Sharon of Daigle; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Richard of Bristol, Conn., and Sam of Beddiford; one sister, Angie Gorneault of Plainville, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Fred; and two sisters, Hilda and Freda. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dave Raymond officiating. Burial will be at the V.A. Cemetery in Caribou.
