MAPLETON – Gertrude L. Beaulieu, 79, died Feb. 1, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born March 30, 1927, in Ashland, the daughter of Jessie and Eliza (McHatten) Watt. Gertrude was a member of the Griffin Ridge Club. Her life was her family and she worked hard keeping her home comfortable for those she loved. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Herbert “Sonny” Watt. Surviving her is her husband of 61 years, Edward P. Beaulieu of Mapleton; three sons, Douglas E. Beaulieu and his wife, Bonnie, of Washburn, Dana E. Beaulieu and his wife, Denise and Brian D. Beaulieu, all of Presque Isle; a brother, Richard Watt of Castle Hill; a sister, Ruth Wood of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Karlyn Williams and her husband, Seth, Kara Beaulieu, Karson Beaulieu, Raquel Beaulieu, Danna Beaulieu, Amanda Beaulieu and Chelsea Beaulieu; one great-grandchild, Delaney Williams; several nieces and nephews.
