PENOBSCOT and MORRILL – Gertrude N. Lozier Hustus, 96, passed away peacefully April 11, 2007, at a Penobscot nursing facility. She was born April 1, 1911, in Penobscot, daughter of Roscoe and Mariba (Gray) Rankin. She was a member of the Searsport Baptist Church. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Alice Gross; son, Stafford Lozier; brother, Roscoe Rankin; nephew, Carl Hubbard; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Plinnie B. “P.B.” Hustus, April 20, 1993. Private graveside funeral services will be held at a later date.
