BANGOR – Marjorie E. Meucci, 106, wife of the late Domenick Meucci, died April 10, 2007, at a Bangor health care center. She was born Dec. 19, 1900, in Bangor, the daughter of William and Emma (Inman) Dyer. Marjorie had worked as a bookkeeper in the family construction business for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s parish community. Marjorie enjoyed bridge and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are four children, Anthony L. Meucci of Yarmouth, Lee (Meucci) Bond of California, William T. Meucci and his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” of Bangor and Louis L. Meucci of California; eight grandchildren, several great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Avis Gordon of Eastbrook. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Domenick; and a daughter, Mary (Meucci) MacDonald. The Meucci family thanks the staff of Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their love and care of Marjorie. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St., Bangor, with the Rev. Roland Nadeau, celebrant. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the church hall after the Mass. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
