ST. DAVID – Gilman Cyr, 52, died Nov. 3, 2003, at his residence in St. David. He was born Oct. 28, 1951, in Van Buren, the son of George Sr. and Rita (Dumond) Cyr. In addition to his mother of St. David, he is survived by one son, Douglas Cyr and Dawn of Saco; two daughters, Sasha Cyr of Presque Isle, and Chantal Graves and Rick of Presque Isle; six brothers, Gerald Cyr of Edgewater, Fla., Joel Cyr of Saco, Johnny Cyr of Madawaska, Jimmie Cyr of Simpsonville, S.C., George Jr. of St. David, and Jeff of St. Agatha; seven sisters, Geraldine Chasse of Manchester, Conn., Germaine Lausier of Madawaska, Joan Rullan of Warner Robins, Ga., Juliette Dionne of Palantine, Ill, Joyce Deschaine of Chesapeake Bay, Md., Jackie Albert of Madawaska, Judy Colson of Rocine, Wis.; two grandchildren, Alex and Oliver Graves; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. David Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Thursday. Interment will be in the St. David Cemetery.
