ARDILLA ‘DICKIE’ ST. PETER BANGOR – “Dickie”, 85, of Bangor, journeyed into eternal life on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003. She was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Queens, N.Y., daughter of George W. and Esther (Metcalf) Wallace. Dickie was an active member of the Bangor Senior Citizens, had a passion for playing cards, and enjoyed the companionship of her peers. She is survived by three sons, George W. Martin of Fair Oaks, Calif., John Martin of Atlanta, Ga., Kenneth Martin of Stockbridge, Ga.; two daughters, Barbara Howe of Veazie, Judith and special son-in-law, Timothy Connole of Carmel; six grandchildren, Janice Martinez of Florida, David Connole of Orono, Samuel Connole of Carmel, Rebecca Russell, Angela Martin of Georgia, Laura D’Agati of North Carolina. She will also be sadly missed by five great-grandchildren, Chance Martinez of Florida, Rachel Dunham of Bangor, Ashley and Gage Connole of Orono and Ethan Russell of Georgia. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation arrangements are by Cremation Basics, Inc., Bangor.
