BANGOR – Gladys I. Lombard, 72, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Jan. 23, 2007. She was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Hartland, the daughter of Cecil and Doris (Kimball) White of Dexter. She worked many years at Hartland Tannery and retired from Eastern Maine Medical Center, where she worked as a housekeeper. She is survived by her children, Barbara and her husband, Perry McKenney, of Dexter, Daniel Lombard and his wife, Cathy, of Florida, Tammi Lombard of St. Albans, Dawn Giles and companion, Rick, of Florida, Darlene Lombard of Bangor and Calvin Lombard of Bradford. She is also survived by her siblings, Olive Tarr of Texas, Cecil “Sonny” White of Dexter, Carrie and Ronald Carter of Etna, Glenise Kaprowski of Florida, Gerald White of Florida, Sheldon and Paula White of Greene, Porter White of Sangerville, Sharon Sisson of New York, and Stephen and Donna White of Dexter; grandchildren, “Punka,” Jodi, Kenneth, Danielle, Richard, Jennifer, Jonathon, Douglas, Tonya, Stephanie, Patrick, Heather and Destin; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Lombard of Hartland; her parents, Cecil and Doris White of Dexter; her brother, Carroll White of Parkman; and her grandson, Dylan. She will be sadly missed by her dog, “Dotty.” Please join us in celebrating her life 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, at the Rock Church, 1195 Ohio St., corner of Finson Road, Bangor.
