ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Gladys M. Raymond, 80, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, in Dade City, Fla. Mrs. Raymond was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Cornor Plantation, to Dwinal and Audrey (West) Rideout, she came to Zephyrhills in 1982 from Old Town. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Gordon C. Raymond of Zephyrhills, Fla.; three daughters, Donna Jellerson of Zephyrhills, Fla., Judy LaMotte of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Jennine Quinn of Turner; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Edwin Rideout of Zephyrhills, Fla., Arthur Rideout of Zephyrhills, Fla., Sidney Rideout of Brooksville, Fla., and Maine and Dwinal Rideout of Orono; three sisters, Arlene Shaw of Brunswick, Jackie Mann of Andover, Mass., and Oklahoma and Shirley Smith of Orono. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla., with the Rev. Randall Mobley officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Whitefield Funeral Home Chapel.
