ONESPORT – Gleness “Glen” E. (Duguay) Faulkingham, 82, passed away April 26, 2008, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Columbia Falls, the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby (McKenny) Duguay. Gleness married her husband, Orval L. Faulkingham, Feb. 14, 1942, in Jonesport. In her youth Gleness was a member of Pentecostal Church, Jonesport. She and Orval lived in Chester and Westbrook, Conn., for 25 years. During that time, Gleness worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at M.S. Brook & Sons. Gleness will be remembered as a hard worker. She worked up until this past December, when her health didn’t allow her to continue. Glen will be lovingly remembered for her generous nature, kindness and devotion to her family. They were the light of her life. Gleness enjoyed attending the Friendly Club, Addison. At the time of her death, she attended Sawyer Memorial Congregational Church, Jonesport. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Orval L. Faulkingham Sr.; daughter, Bonnie Patterson of Deep River, Conn.; son, Larry Faulkingham of Jonesport; daughter-in-law, Trudy Faulkingham of Old Saybrook, Conn.; grand-children, Alan, Mark, Cheryl, Tammy, Ryan and Stacy Jo; 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Norma Faulkingham and companion, Ronald Randall, Clifford Duguay and wife, Lois, Leroy Duguay and wife, Kathy and Gary Duguay and wife, Ruby; many nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was predeceased by two sons, Orval Faulkingham Jr. and Darrell R. Faulkingham. Visiting hours will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Sawyer Memorial Congregational Church, Jones-port, with a service held 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor George Woodward.
