SEBEC – Glenn E. Philbrook, 81, husband of the late Mary (Strout) Phil-brook, died Oct. 12, 2004, at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. He was born Oct. 31, 1922, at Hardy Pond, the son of Irving and Bessie (Tash) Philbrook. Glenn served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Uncle “Nick” will be remembered by us all. He is survived by a son, Alan Philbrook and his wife, Patricia of Pittston; a daughter, Donna McGee and her husband, John of Christianburg, Va.; a brother, Merle Philbrook of Milo; two sisters, Betty Pooler and Arlene Hughes, both of Milo; four grandchildren, Ben, Amy, Jesse and Emily; six great-grandchildren. He will be remembered by a special friend, Helga Nason, and her family. Friends are invited to call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Michelle St. Cyr officiating. Burial will be in family lot in Evergreen Cemetery.
