CARIBOU – Glenna M. Langley, 81, passed away peacefully April 19, 2008, at her residence. She was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Caribou, the daughter of Luther and Eleanor (Smith) Hewitt. She was a graduate of Caribou High School, and was employed at Caribou Nursing Home for a number of years. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Lister-Knowlton Post No. 9389 VFW, Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as Caribou Lioness Club. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jon and Gail Langley and Steven Langley, all of Caribou and Gary and Sonja Langley of Cypress, Texas; her twin sister, Glenda Smith and her husband, Donald, of Caribou; two grandchildren, Jeff and Brent Langley; two great-grand-children, Amelia and Dalton Langley; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Langley was predeceased by a son, Robert in 1976; three brothers, Floyd, Irvin and Jerry Hewitt; and a sister, Phyllis Pillsbury. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev.
