WASHBURN – Laurece Ann Marr, 57, died early Saturday morning, April 19, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 20, 1950, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Lawrence and Veda (Dodge) Willette. She worked for Simplot, McCain Foods and for several local farmers. She is survived by two daughters and their companions, Lori Chalila and Roger Dumond of Westbrook and Nancy Willette and Edmund Pendexter of Portage Lake; five sisters and their husbands, Jessie and Jerry Bernard of Jaffrey, N.H., Debra Hafford of Anson, Cindy and Dwight Hafford, Mary and Bruce Bragg, and Virginia Willette, all of Fort Fairfield; five brothers, Cecil Willette and his wife, Diane, of Washington state, Walter Dermody and Harold Blake, both of Massachusetts, Larry Willette Jr. and his wife, Stacy, of Mars Hill and Jerry Palmer and his wife, Tammi, of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Johnathan, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Jerika, Jondalynn and Keenen; a great- granddaughter, Juanita; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Chase Blanchard of Bangor; a special sister-in-law, Edna Graves of Washburn; and her stepmother, Joyce Willette of Presque Isle. She will be fondly remembered by Lee, Carroll, Merton and Clarence; also her best friend, Smokey, her cat. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating. Friends may call noon until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn, at a later date.
