WASHBURN – Glenna R. Tingley, 74, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born March 2, 1930, at Presque Isle, the daughter of Ernest P. and Doris (Walton) Henderson. She worked for a number of years at Taterstate Foods in Washburn. She is survived by three sons and their wives; Stephen and Janice Tingley of Feeding Hills, Mass.; Bruce Tingley of Woodland, Kenneth and Michele Tingley of Hebron, Conn.; four daughters, Julie Tisdale of Woodland, Kathy Butler and her husband, Michael, of Levant, Myrth Schwartz and her husband, Donald, of Fort Fairfield, and Joyce Jenkins of Washburn; four sisters, Mable Brown of Mapleton, Clara Jones, Irene Merriam, and Donna Moore, all of Presque Isle; four brothers; Douglas Henderson of Easton, Carlton Henderson of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Pat Henderson of Dallas, Texas and Richard Henderson of Presque Isle; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 69 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Tingley in June 1996. Funeral services were held Dec. 1, 2004 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home30 Church St Presque Islewith the Rev. Earl Durost officiating. Interment was in Riverside Ext. Cemetery, Washburn. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jones and the nurses at TAMC for all the care they gave to Glenna during her illness.
