HUDSON – Glennis D. Stone, 68, the loving wife of Kelsey Stone, went home to be with the Lord May 10, 2007, at her residence after a long illness. She was born Oct. 11, 1938, in Olamon, the daughter of Byron and Hildred (Dodge) Harris. She was a member of Hudson Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her father of Old Town; her brother, Terrance Harris of Bangor; an infant son, Kirk Thurston; an infant daughter, Deborah Woodward; her father-in-law, Luther ‘Gene’ Stone of Hudson; and her brother-in-law, Winfield Waite of Corinth. In addition to her husband of Hudson and her mother of Old Town, she was the beloved mother of Lynn Thurston of Enfield, Conn., Joel Thurston of Enfield, Conn., Andrew Stone of Broad Brook, Conn., and Jean and Richard Rinaldi of Suffield, Conn. She is also survived by a brother, Stanley Harris and Theresa of Clifton; a sister, Carole Larrabee and Bernard of Sangerville; a brother, David Harris of Hudson; a loving sister-in-law, Sharon Harris of Glenburn; her mother-in-law, Emma Stone of Hudson; a sister-in-law, Lucille Waite of Corinth; a brother-in-law and wife, George and Pamela Stone of Hudson; and a special sister-in-law, Verna G. Stone of Hudson. Glennis also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Pushaw Cemetery, Hudson, with Pastor Burly Shorey, of the Hudson Baptist Church, officiating.
