PRESQUE ISLE – Gloria C. St. Peter, 78, died early Tuesday morning May 31, 2005, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. She was born April 27, 1927, at Presque Isle, the daughter of Peter and Corinna (Martin)Guerrette. She is survived by three sons, Louis of Presque Isle, Peter of Bangor, and Lawrence St. Peter; four daughters, Gloria St. Peter, Rena Bell, Betty Lou St. Peter, all of Presque Isle, and Marie Carney of Mapleton; three brothers, Wilfred, Nelson, and Philip Guerrette, all of Presque Isle; six sisters, Angie Powers, Annie Drost, Marlene Forbes, Arlene Elliott, and Corinne Levesque, all of Presque Isle, and Edna Albert of Fort Kent; five grandchildren; two great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford St. Peter in May 1997; a son, Edward Joseph St. Peter in 1975; a grandson, Everett Carter Jr. in August 1997; four brothers, Peter, Reno, Paul and Carl Guerrette; and a sister, Lorraine. There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alfred Irving, Celebrant.
