BELFAST and OLD TOWN Gloria E. Roy, 73, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at her daughter’s home, in Prospect. She was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Houlton, the daughter of Herschel W. and Lillian F. (Trueworthy) Duley. Gloria was a beautician for 45 years, a job she loved, working 25 years in Belfast and also working in Bangor and Ellsworth. Surviving are two children, Pamela Payson and her husband, Sam, of Prospect, and Jeffrey Perrigo and his wife, Lynn, of Belmont; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; five stepchildren, Sharon Guay, Adrian Jr., Glen, Gary and Dan Roy; one brother, Earl Duley of Leominster, Mass.; three sisters, Elaine Logie of Linneus, Irene Couture of Clairsville, Ohio, and Rowena Soulnier of Old Town; many special nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. It is asked that all attending the service meet at the cemetery’s superintendents’ office 9:45 a.m. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastern Maine Medical Center CancerCare, care of Health Care Charities, P.O.
