ORIENT and HODGDON Gloria McKissick died July 1, 2007, in Bangor. She was born May 9, 1947, in Webster, Mass., the daughter of Bernard and Rita (Favreau) Kuzawa. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clayton Roy McKissick Sr. of Hodgdon; five children, Laurie and her husband, Billy Hovey, of Hodgdon, Tammy and her husband, Ricky Acott, of Houlton, Clayton Jr. and his wife, Kate McKissick, of Orient, Scott McKissick and Brian McKissick, both of Orient; grandchildren, Steven, Kari, Matthew, Zachary Cronkhite, Taylor, Kassidy, Nicholas, Jordyn, Emily, Leah and Hannah; two brothers, Bernard and his wife, Geraldine Kazawa, and Hank and Dee Kazawa; one sister, Donna and Aaron Olson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family thanks Long Term Care at Houlton Regional Hospital for all their care and compassion over the years. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. with Father Eddy Morin officiating. Interment will be at Orient Cemetery.
