FORT KENT – Nicole (Oakes) Theriault, 58, died July 1, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born July 25, 1948, in Connors, New Brunswick, the daughter of Raoul and Germain Oaks. Nicole is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Aurele Theriault of New Canada; her son, Kevin Theriault of Daigle; her daughter, Michelle and her husband, Jason Tardif, of Frenchville; two grandchildren, Kelsie and Devin Tardif, also of Frenchville; her mother, Mrs. Germain Oakes of Connors, New Brunswick; two brothers, Guy Oakes and his wife, Mona Long, of St. Thomas, Ontario, and William Oakes and his wife, Danielle Plante, of St. Francois, New Brunswick; five sisters, Madona St. Pierre and her husband, Carmel, of Plainville, Conn., Theresa Gendreau and her husband, Guildo, of St. Francios, New Brunswick, Pierrette Oakes of St. Francios, New Brunswick, Louise Pelletier and her husband, Luc, of St. Francios, New Brunswick and Jeanine Boulet and her husband, Yves, of Connors, New Brunswick; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one sister, Georgette Oakes. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday until time of service at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be held after at Holy Family Cemetery, Daigle.
