THOMASTON – Gordon B. Preble, 64, died Feb. 6, 2006, at a Rockland healthcare center, following a long illness. He was born June 12, 1941, in Brewer, a son of Erral Preble and Gertrude (Russell) Preble Cohen. Mickey is survived by a sister, Jacqueline Scuitto and husband, Lou, of Springfield, Vt.; brothers, Kenneth Preble and wife, Sandra, of Hampden, Donald Preble and wife, Magna, of San Antonio, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Mickey’s family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Vera Brandes Home in Thomaston, Shore Village Rehab in Rockland and the Coastal Workshop in Camden, for the love and excellent care given to Mickey over the years. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Highland Cemetery, Carmel, at a time to be announced by Foley Funeral Service, Bangor.
