BREWER – Grace C. Carr, 101, died April 9, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born April 19, 1904, in Natick, Mass., the daughter of William A. and Mary (Downs) Hook. Grace was a long-time member of the Twin City Baptist Church. She was an American Red Cross volunteer for many years. Grace was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Albert B. Carr in 1985. A special thank you to Dr. Vincent Michaud and the staff of Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate care that Grace received over the years. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Prospect, with the Rev. Robert Treadwell officiating.
