YARMOUTH – Grace (Glaster) Harris, 88, beloved wife of the late Clifford A. Harris, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at a Portland hospital after a brief illness. Born and raised in Bangor, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Olive L. Welch Glaster. Grace was a 1937 graduate of Bangor High School and had lived in Portland for the greater part of her life. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo and sewing. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. King. Surviving her are her son, Robert G. Harris and his wife, Ann, of Lynn, Mass.; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grand-children. An hour of visitation will be held 11-noon Sunday, Aug., 19, at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, South Windham, where a funeral service will be held noon. Interment will be at Smith Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 160B, Portland, ME 04101-2406.
