TAMPA, Fla. – Grace Hutchinson Hollingshead, 87, resident of Thonotosassa, Fla., former longtime resident of Maine, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla., after a long illness. She was born Oct. 5, 1918, in Skowhegan, a daughter of Clyde and Mary (Pann) Gary. Mrs. Hollingshead was educated in Maine and graduated from Deering High School, Portland, Class of 1936. She was employed for several years at Sears & Roebuck. She was also a real estate broker for Lord Real Estate of Brunswick and Century 21 Waterfall, Topsham. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Hutchinson, in 1965. She is survived by a son, Bruce G. and his wife, Caroline Hutchinson, of Winslow; a daughter, Catherine and her husband, Ronald Perry, of Thonotosassa, Fla.; four grandchildren, Arthur and his wife, Stacy Hutchinson, of Lakewood, Colo., Robert and his wife, Amy Hutchinson, of Penobscot, Roni and her husband, Michael Gavigan, of Tampa, Fla., Eve Perry of Thonotosassa, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Mave and Jonas Hutchinson. A graveside service will be held noon Monday, March 27, in Evergreen Cemetery, Stevens Avenue, Portland, with the Rev. Philip Shearman officiating. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Grace’s memory. Arrangements are by Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, Portland.
