MOSHEIM, Tenn., and VAN BUREN – Grace V. Crothers, 62, of Mosheim, Tenn., died Tuesday afternoon, April 15, 2008, at Johnson City Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 9, 1945, in Van Buren, daughter of Wallace and Annette (Learnard) Ouellette. Grace received a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in business, but found true joy in being a caregiver for the elderly. She is survived by her loving husband, Homer L. Crothers of Mosheim, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Dion Holter of Greeneville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Sydney, Isaac and Macy Holter; her mother, Annette Learnard of Van Buren; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Leo James Cormier of Hamlin; brother, Vincent Ouellette of Colorado; special niece, Debbie Cormier of Scarborough; stepson and wife, Kevin and Patti Crothers of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; stepdaughter and husband, Lori Ann and Brian Sparks of Mosheim, Tenn.; and five stepgrandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Lighthouse Assembly of God with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Interment will be after at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
