BOWERBANK and DOVER-FOXCROFT – After 88 years of living a kind and compassionate life, May 23, 2008, was the day Greta chose to travel her own path alone. Our few last hours with her were spent in sweet sadness, sprinkled with fond memories and tears. Greta was born April 6, 1920, in Braintree, Mass., the daughter of Stanley R. and Greta I. (Locke) Sulis. She is survived by two beloved daughters, Cherylee Brown and her husband, Everett, of Dover-Foxcroft and Karen Smith and her husband, Linwood, of Bowerbank; two grandchildren, Kim and Dan; three great-grandchildren, Becky, Brad and Cooper; and a brother, Stanley Sulis Jr. We miss all that she was to us, and we will always hold her dearly in our hearts. Because of her love for all creatures furred and feathered, donations in Greta’s memory may be made to an animal shelter or humane society of your choice. She would be so pleased.
