WASHBURN – Guy E. Terrell, loving husband and father, 58, died unexpectedly, Tuesday June 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born Jan. 19, 1948, in E-Plantation, the son of Harry Terrell and Fern (Davenport) Terrell. Guy was a graduate of Presque Isle High School. He was then drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended N.M.V.T.I. where he majored in diesel mechanics. Guy moved to Florida where he worked as a night watchman for Walker Farms. After returning to Presque Isle, he worked 23 years at S&S Storage, and was also contracted through Aroostook Valley Electric Co. for their Ash Utilization Program. In his spare time he enjoyed repairing and restoring cars, bird watching, gardening, fishing, working, and was an “amateur weatherman.” He will be remembered as a super devoted husband who loved his wife, Beverly with all his heart. He was a good father and a dear friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Beverly (Crosby) Terrell of Presque Isle; a son, Guy Eldon Terrell II and his wife, Melanie (Bubar) Terrell, of Presque Isle; five brothers, Reginald Davenport and his wife, Gail, William Parker and his wife, Jayne, Francis Parker, Kirk Terrell and his wife, Sue; two sisters, Victoria (Terrell) Crawford and her husband, Olin, Tammy Parker; a special granddaughter, Samantha Cray; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, L. Adrian Parker. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. David LaLiberty officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery. After the committal, there will be a reception at the funeral home.
