CLIFTON – Guy V. Campbell, 98, husband of the late Imogene Campbell for 64 years, died Jan. 18, 2004, at home with the five generations by his side. He was born March 26, 1905, in Amherst, the son of Calvin and Carrie Campbell. Guy graduated from Bangor High School and attended Bowdoin College. He was a carpenter, millwright and also worked as an electrician. Guy was a member and Deacon of the Clifton United Baptist Church, and the East Eddington Grange No. 301. He is survived by his son, Vernon Campbell and his wife, Jean, of Clifton; son-in-law, Roger Davis of Greenfield, Mass.; grandchildren and spouses, Arthur and Jean Girard of Clifton, Louise Howland of Manchester, N.H., Andrew Campbell of Anchorage, Alaska, Anthony and Gail Campbell of Wasilla, Alaska, Jim and Lynda Coyle of Turner Falls, Mass.; great-grandchildren, Amy Howland of Hooksett, N.H., Jim and Jennifer Bruce of Greenwood, Ind., Mariah and Jessica Jones of Manchester, N.H., Michelle, Jason, and Nicole Girard of Clifton, Christopher Campbell of Anchorage, Alaska, Nicholas, Jaylen, Jordan, and Kody Campbell of Wasilla, Alaska, Joe, Catlin, Julianna, Nathan, and Jack Coyle of Turner Falls, Mass.; great-great-grandchildren, Ethan Rienert of Hooksett, N.H., Emma Jean and Joshua Girard of Clifton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Imogene; daughter, Donna Davis; and a grandson Douglas Davis. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at the Clifton United Baptist Church, 724 Airline Road, Clifton, with the Rev. Foster Williams officiating. Spring interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Clifton. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
