LITTLETON – Gwen M. Callnan, 72, died Jan. 7, 2004, at a local nursing home. She was born March 8, 1931, at New Limerick, the daughter of the late Elwyn W. McIntosh and Gladys (Sibley) McIntosh. Gwen was a graduate of Houlton High School and went on to work as a teller for First National Bank, then later for the U.S. State Department. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Guillermo “Jim” Castillo of Littleton; her mother, Gladys McIntosh of Houlton; a brother, Edwin McIntosh and his wife, Patricia, of Littleton; two nieces, Robbie McIntosh and her husband, Dana Delano of Houlton, Pamela (McIntosh) Walker and her husband, John, of Falmouth; a nephew, Edwin “Spike” McIntosh of Sugarloaf; two great-nieces and a great-nephew. Graveside services will be announced in the spring. Gifts may be made in Gwen’s memory to the charity of one’s choice, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton, ME 04730.
