ROCKLAND – Gwendolyn B. Billings, 56, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Rockport, after an extended illness. Gwen was the wife of the late Randall R. “Tubba” Billings and a devoted homemaker and mother. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. Pastor Douglas Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Achorn Cemetery, Old County Road, Rockland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
