PLYMOUTH – Gwendolyn B. Gray, 90, died March 11, 2006, at a Pittsfield healthcare facility after a short period of ill health. She was born Feb. 16, 1916, in Canaan, the daughter of Walter and Beulah (Bickford) Peavey. She was educated in Canaan schools. Gwendolyn was married to Kenneth N. Gray, who died July of 1989 after 57 years of marriage. She worked for many years at Edward Technology in Pittsfield. Gwendolyn liked spending time with her family and she took great pride in keeping her home and yard looking good. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Gray of Troy; one sister, Leona Robinson of Clinton; nine grandchildren, one of them is Ricky Gray of Corinna who she raised; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband and five daughters, Beverly, Faylene, Marlene, Sandra and Sally. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the family lot at the Village Cemetery in Pittsfield.
