WILTON and ELLSWORTH H. Cairine Stinson Brown, 93, passed away Oct. 10, 2007. She was born March 8, 1914, in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, the daughter of William and Aubria (MacQuoid) Stinson. Cairine moved with her family to Wilton as a child. She attended schools there and graduated from Wilton Academy in 1932. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Nursing in 1935 and received a degree as a nurse anesthetist. She worked in Rhode Island and Maine as a registered nurse for many years. Cairine and her husband enjoyed camping and traveled to Florida for many winters. Other interests included sewing, knitting and crafts. She is survived by daughters, Carmen Parent of Bangor and Barbara D. Beal of Ellsworth; three granddaughters; two grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Darwin; sister, Myrtle; and brothers, Ralph and Elwin. A family service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
