VANCEBORO – Halson Milton Blair of Vanceboro and formerly of McAdam, New Brunswick, passed away May 2, 2004, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Halson was born Jan. 30, 1940, in McAdam, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his son, Jimmy, in 1993; his parents, Douglas and Bessie Blair; and mother-in-law, Betty Mills; two brothers, Milford and Ralph; sisters, Margaret, Mary and Doreen Sutherland. Halson is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 and a half years, Annette (Grass); daughter, Kim of Portland; brothers, Frank (Jean), George (Jeanette); sisters, Addie Fairweather, Florence Colwell (David), Dena Camp (Greg), Doris Lustig (Allan); brother-in-law, Keith Mills (Linda); sisters-in-law, Sharon McPhee (Dean), Linda Cropley (Gene) and Joyce McKay (Donald); numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Cremation by McAdams Funeral Home with graveside services 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in the Vanceboro Cemetery, Salmon River Road, with the Rev. David Ingalls officiating.
