HOULTON and SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. – Hannah Osborne Boynton, 83, passed away, March 29, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1923, at Danforth, the daughter of William and Molly (Putnam) Osborne. Hannah spent her early life in Danforth and Houlton and attended Colby College. She married Frederic A. “Ted” “Tedda” Boynton, who predeceased her in 1988. She was a gentle woman and will be forever cherished by family, friends and by all who knew her, especially by her caregiver family from Gardiner Nursing Home where she resided for the past 12 years. She will also be remembered for her quick wit, extreme intelligence and love of the English word. Hanna was the beloved mother of Molly Fisher of Homestead, Fla., Jeannie Faulkner of Marietta, Ga.; five granddaughters, Kelli, Kristin and Katy Fisher of Homestead, Fla., Courtney and Molly Faulkner of Marietta, Ga.; one brother, Charles P. Osborne of Warren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. Interment will be in the spring.
