ELLSWORTH – Carroll J. Bunker, 91, died March 30, 2006, at an Ellsworth health-care facility. He was born April 28, 1914, in East Sullivan the son of Daniel I. and Carrie (Hodgkins) Bunker. Carroll worked for many years for Sargent’s Auto Parts in Ellsworth. He was a member of the David Hooper Masonic Lodge of Sullivan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lois Daley Bunker of Sullivan; daughter, Joyce Tibbetts and husband, Lowell, of Sullivan; grandsons, Joseph Fountaine and wife, Ila, of Sullivan, Michael Fountaine and wife, Anne, of Orlando, Fla., Wayne Fountaine and fiance, Linda, and Steve Fountaine, both of Sullivan; stepgrandchildren, Rita Becker of Lamoine, Lowell Tibbetts Jr. of Sullivan, Wesley Tibbetts of Ellsworth; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, at Simpson Cemetery, East Sullivan.
