EXETER – Harold E. Cossar, 65, husband of Sandra (Henderson) Cossar, died April 29, 2007, at a Bangor nursing home, after an extended illness. He was born July 11, 1941, in Exeter, the son of Herbert and Marguerite (Sawtelle) Cossar. He attended Corinna Union Academy and was an employee of Dexter Shoe for 30 years. He was later employed as a machinist for G. E. Turbines, Bangor, for 17 years. Harold formerly attended the Exeter Full Gospel Church and loved his gardening and watching TV. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 44 years, are a son, DeWayne Alton Cossar and his wife, Terri, of Exeter; a daughter, Julie Anne Warner and her husband, Myron, of Bangor; three grandchildren, Ryan, Bethani and Daniel; two stepgrandchildren, Kristi Moulton and Branden Crocker; and a sister, Gail Hanson and her husband, Emanuel, of Exeter. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Scott Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Those who wish may give flowers or gifts of money to the family.
