BREWER – Mary Ann Doak, 97, wife of the late Roy M. Doak, died April 29, 2007, at a Bangor health care center. She was born Nov. 19, 1909, in Oxbow, the daughter of Edwin Herbert and Arvesta May (Grass) Goss. Surviving are three sons, Vernon L. Doak of Eddington, Kenneth M. Doak Sr. and his wife, Doris, and Keith M. Doak and his wife, Shirley, all of Brewer; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lillian Goss of Blue Hill; nieces and nephews. A graveside service for the family only will be held Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, with the Rev. Almon Emerson, evangelist, officiating.
